Flying Cars Are Here!

Good morning everyone,

Happy Tuesday!

I know I'm off rhythm a bit. Personally, it's been a wild week.

Last week, I joined Tom Lydon on his Bangers Only Podcast to discuss flying cars - eVTOLs!

I had a blast talking with Tom about Joby's demonstration flight in NYC, China's offerings, huddles yet to be cleared, and why we really need eVTOL technology. I'm incredibly grateful to Tom for creating the opportunity for me to speak.

I'd suggest you tune in the next time you find yourself in need of intellectual stimulation.

Onward!

Also last week, I migrated to Glenwood Springs - at the confluence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado River. The town rests along I-70, features an Amtrak train station, and is approximately 40 miles North of Aspen - SoHo of the Rockies. It's shaping up to be an incredible summer.

Stay with me - this all circles back...

I recently spoke with a friend building eVTOL infrastructure. And things are moving!

That said - I like to think ahead. Find what's next.

And I learned Aspen will close its airport for runway renovations next April.

eVTOLs were the first thing that came to mind.

With the runway closed, jet-setters will be directed to land at the Eagle County Regional Airport and tasked with an hour-plus commute via car.

I followed up with my eVTOL infrastructure friend, asking about the possibility of offering an air taxi route to Aspen by next year...

His response, "I think it's possible."

I intend to attend Aspen's airport board meeting later this month and will look to connect with folks who may be interested in what the market has to offer.

Until then — Godspeed!
