Nvidia Drops On Historic Numbers
Good evening. Happy Friday Jr!
It’s a good time to revisit Tuesday’s note,
This week carries several potential catalysts // events that may provide directional momentum.
Tonight’s State of the Union, and earnings from NVDA, CRCL, CRM and others.
So what happened!?
The State of the Union featured standing, clapping, and even an arrest. But the highlight was Chief Warrant Officer Eric Slover receiving the Medal of Honor. 🫡
Nvidia continued its historic performance, posting record-setting figures as the stock dropped -5% in today’s session. Good news is not being rewarded. We’ll learn more tomorrow.
Circle crushed it, and the stock was handsomely rewarded. The stablecoin provider popped +35% following its earnings release and gained +5% today. $CRCL is still down -67% from highs, but displaying signs of life.
Salesforce’s figures were in-line with estimates, and the company commentary was enough to temper the AI doom and gloom. $CRM is up 12% from Monday’s low close.
Clear Secure, the airport security software provider soared +39% on its earnings release. Its “Total CLEAR Members” grew 31.5% YoY, with revenue and total bookings growing double digits. $YOU closed at its highest price since Nov. 2021.
There are glimmers of light within tech’s turbulent tape.
I’m still cautious.
Tough to say if we’re out of the woods just yet.
Let’s wait for the weekly closing prints.
