I’m excited to share a fireside chat with my dear friend and mentor, Brett Conrad.
Brett is a pilot, entrepreneur, and investor, but more importantly, he’s a husband, father, and grandfather. He’s one of those people who’s lived many chapters, and carries the perspective that comes with it.
Brett and I first met at the 2019 Chart Summit in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Somewhere on the slopes, we lost the group, and ended up spending the day together lapping the E Chair. What started as a detour turned into a conversation I still think about. I learned about his background, his approach to markets, and the way he thinks about life.
Speaking with Brett is always a pleasure. He holds a deep well of knowledge, and shares it without pretense.
It felt fitting that Gloria (the Conrads’ Sprinter Van) sat quietly in the background during our recording. I called Gloria home while interning with Brett in the summer of 2019. It was a formative season for me, both personally and professionally.
This conversation felt like a full-circle moment.
